Our dual Level 7 dual-module programme (10 ECTS) integrates the critical disciplines of high-voltage power distribution, resilient industrial networking, and strategic energy management to create a holistic skillset for the modern manufacturing environment. By converging physical infrastructure with digital connectivity and sustainability standards, the programme equips technicians to design, secure, and optimize complex cyber-physical systems. These modules are designed to build upon our existing practical Level 6 foundation in areas like pneumatics, electrical systems, robotics, sensors, and PLCs, and to guide learners towards advanced industrial applications.

Module 2: Industrial Power Systems and Control

NFQ Level: 7 | Credits: 5 ECTS Prerequisites: Level 6 modules in electrical systems, robotics, PLCs

Module Aim: To develop in-depth understanding and practical competency in the design, control, and protection of industrial electrical power systems.

  • Power distribution and protection systems (LV, MV)
