Who can use our services?
Engineering Skillnet supports businesses in the Engineering sectors in Ireland by providing access to high-quality, industry-led training and development opportunities. Our services are designed for:

Engineering companies based in Ireland – from start-ups and SMEs to large multinational organisations.

Employees within these companies – including those working in technical, operations, commercial, and leadership roles.

Industry stakeholders and partners – such as business leaders, HR professionals, and teams looking to upskill, reskill, or future-proof their workforce.
If your organisation is part of, or supplies into, the engineering sector and is based in Ireland, you are eligible to access our subsidised training programmes, workshops, and resources. Engineering Skillnet is a government-supported, enterprise-led network, meaning our programmes are developed in partnership with industry to meet real skills needs.
No formal membership is required to access Irish Medtech Skillnet’s training and services. We operate an open access model for businesses in Ireland’s medtech and manufacturing sectors, meaning you can book into our courses without becoming a member first.
Is membership required?
If your organisation is based in Ireland and is part of, or supplies into, the engineering sector, you can take advantage of our subsidised training programmes straight away.
How to register:

Browse our upcoming training programmes and events under our courses page

Select the course you’re interested in and follow the ‘Book Now’ link.

New companies to please complete our new compay form so that we can set you up in our system for registration, bookings, invoicing, etc.

All delegates completing training must complete our registration form in advance of all courses/events attended.

Once registered, you’ll receive confirmation and all the details you need to take part.
Engineering Skillnet is enterprise-led and government-supported, which means our training is designed with industry to meet real skills needs, and subsidised to make professional development more accessible.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to make cancellations as straightforward as possible.
Our standard cancellation policy is:

Cancellations: You may cancel your booking up to 10 working days before the course start date without charge.

Late cancellations or no-shows: Cancellations made within 10 working days of the course, or non-attendance on the day, will incur the full course fee.

Substitutions: If you cannot attend, a colleague can attend in your place at no additional cost. Please notify Engineering Skillnet by email with regards to any delegate attendance changes.
Please note that some courses may have specific cancellation terms (e.g., longer notice periods). Any exceptions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. To cancel or amend your booking, simply reply to your confirmation email or contact us through the website.
